How can I rotate thumbnail in thunar

I have some photos that I want to rotate.
If I rotate them and export as with new file name in GIMP, yes the new file named image is rotated and its thumbnail is also rotated in Thunar.
but if I do rotate them using convert like;

$ convert -rotate 90 file.jpg newfile.jpg

the newfile.jpg is rotated actually in any image viewer but its thumbnail (newfile.jpg) is still not rotated in Thunar.

How are they different?
How can I do rotating image and also its thumbnail in thunar using convert?

I have tested a lot using exiftool like changing Orientation tag and, width and height, etc... but still not.
