Boot partition filling up

Hello. Anytime I log in, Gnome greets me with a notification saying that my boot partition is filling up. I am on a dual boot with Windows 10 and Linux. The boot partition is shared by both the Windows and GRUB bootloader, and now it is filling up, with ~3.7mb left. What should I do?

You should check what it's filling up with.

I don't mean to be (too much of) a smart ass - but there's really no information here.  I highly doubt your boot partition is actually filling up.  It might be nearly full, but those are two very different statements.  Shortly after unplugging my laptop, its battery is nearly full, but it's certainly not filling up!

If your boot partition is actively being filled up something is wrong and you need to stop whatever process is writing garbage there - but again I highly doubt that this is the case.  But if we discared that description as flawed, we really have nothing left describing the situation.

How big is your boot partition?  What are the contents?

You might benefit from an approach like what is described here - but it'd be good to first make sure we know what the actual problem is.
