after updating Steam last night, I can not launch games. I use a custom installation directory. when I used the stem client to browse local files, I saw Stem was looking for the game in the wrong location.
however, when I tried to use the client to either reinstall to my actual directories or move installation files anywhere, the client does not show the full filesystem. it simply gives me the option to reinstall to its default location for the game, or oddly, it allows me to select one of four other places where I have games installed (these are custom like the one I need to use).
what's wrong with Steam? after updating Ach, I had only a black display in the library view. I updated again from within the client, and now it is doing this.
