Hello together
initial situation:
according to the instructions, you should encrypt the partition during installation.
[Section Partition the disks]
Since I have several hard disks, I wanted to create the Home partition separately on the larger one. Since the two hard disks do not have the same speed, I need (at least in my imagination) several group volumes and cannot solve the whole thing over a group volume.
[https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Dm-cry … UKS_on_LVM]
now I have to "" however I can not install lvm2 ('pacman -S lvm2) because the error message:
'''
Building image from preset: /etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux.preset: 'archiso'
-> -k /boot/vmlinuz-linux -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g /boot/initramfs-linux.img
ERROR: specified kernel image does not exist: `/boot-vmlinuz-linux'
error: command failed to execute correctly
'''
can someone help me, or explain to me in short words where my mistake is?
many thanks in advance

lvm2 is included in the install iso, why do you want to install it ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

i did not use the guided installer.
However, I found the solution and installed lvm2 with pacstrap.

The majority of the installation iso is aimed at command line install following the installation guide, not the archlinux guided installer.

please prepend the thread title with [Solved] (edit first post)
