[SOLVED] - PC Reboots Spontaneously During Normal Use

Problem:
My machine has been rebooting mid-use out of the blue. The duration of operation before it forces a reboot varies. Sometimes it's as little as 5 minutes, other times it can go for a few hours. I am not entirely sure how to pinpoint the issue. This never used to happen, but is now a very frequent occurrence.

Logs:
Here is the PC's most recent journalctl logs concerning the spontaneous reboot: https://pastebin.com/Y5Jx56Z4

Output of last -Fxn2 shutdown reboot:

reboot   system boot  5.16.1-arch1-1   Wed Jan 19 17:15:11 2022   still running
reboot   system boot  5.16.1-arch1-1   Wed Jan 19 16:28:19 2022   still running

Since the 2nd field is also a reboot instead of a shutdown, this confirms that the system has crashed ungracefully.

Required solution:
How can I confirm whether the issue is OS (5.16.1-arch1-1) or hardware related?

Additional PC information:
For context, the reboot occurs despite a low load. The temperature readings of the sensors are:

CPU (AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT):

Tctl:         +34.5°C
Tccd1:        +34.8°C
Tccd2:        +34.5°C
temp1:        +29.0°C

GPU (RTX 3090):

|  0%   53C    P8    50W / 350W |    486MiB / 24265MiB |     33%      Default |

The motherboard is "MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX Motherboard ATX", I have been fiddling with the BIOS settings and the problem seems to persist for now.

As for the PSU, it is a "GIGABYTE P850GM V2, 850W, 80 Plus Gold Certified". It has been under use for roughly 5-6 months at the time of writing (since July of 2021).

I am in possession of both a DMM and a low-budget oscilloscope in case the issue might lay with the PSU and primitive inspection is possible using these instruments.

Just downgrade to 5.15.x and see if it crashes again.

Have you tried stress-testing it with something like mprime?
I suppose that you could also open it up and check for loose connections.
If you have at least a rough idea of when the problem started then you could check which packages were updated around that time in the pacman log (/var/log/pacman.log).

Or use the LTS kernel.
If it's not the kernel it's gonna be overheat, undercurrent, bad RAM (incl. anything loosely assembled) or a parallel OS (windows) installation (w/ a stale wakeup call in the ACPI)

Re: [SOLVED] - PC Reboots Spontaneously During Normal Use

I appreciate the support everyone.

The issue seems not to be loose wires, nor OS-based. Not even a faulty PSU.

It seems to be related to the BIOS. I set the power supply idle control to typical current idle instead of having it set on the default auto and removed any offset voltage set-point that underpowered the CPU.

This seems to have solved the problem because thus far the PC has not rebooted for a satisfactory number of hours.
