[SOLVED] Suspend doesn't work anymore since few days
Hello,
Since few days, I believe it's since the kernel's update 5.16.0, I can't suspend my laptop, whether with the closing of the lid or with the terminal.
When I close the lid, the alimentation led is still light instead of blinks.
When I open it, the screen is black and I can't do nothing but shutdown the computer with the power button.
It's still the same with kernels 5.16.1 and 5.16.2
CPU : AMD A6-9225 Radeon R4
GPU : [AMD/ATI] Stoney [Radeon R2/R3/R4/R5 Graphics]

I believe I've been experiencing the same issue, although it only affects suspend on lid close, not from terminal, so maybe not. Downgrading to 5.15.13 fixed it for me, although obviously that's not a permanent solution.

Thank's for the replies.
It's seems to be the same problem than me.
If I understood I have to patch 2 files and compil the kernel with the 2 modified files.
I don't have the knowledges yet to compil a kernel myself but I'll read the documentations, it's interesting.

I don't know how to patch it myself, either. Since it's an upstream patch that's linked to on that page, my guess is that it will make its way to us naturally at some point. For now, I'm just leaving my kernel downgraded. If there's a better solution, I'm open to advice from someone with more knowledge about these things!
