Hdmi/ any display output stops working when I log out (SSDM, KDE)

The title explains itself. Basically, the display just goes blank, and either i have to log in without knowing where im going, or just restart the pc, which is kinda annoying.

Is this my GPU or SSDM? I cant tell.

Actually not. Notably "Hdmi/ any display" - which one is it? VGA? DVI? DP? Just different monitors?

Do you get an output signal when switching the VT (ctrl+alt+f3)? Is it still there if you then switch back (I guess SDDM is on VT1)
Can you ssh into the system? (Edit: for passive inspection of the status)

Alright so, its HDMI (since thats what im using).

Also my system is responsive on the logoff screen, as i can still sign in blindly, mind you).

My system shows SDDM just fine when it boots up, and yes, i should be able to SSH just fine, since my PC is responsive and is connected to the internet via Ethernet.

The question was more like whether you have the opportunity.
In that case please do and check "xrandr --display :0 -q"

SDDM does probably not run as the user you logged in with.
Try as root.

I was on the LOGIN.

There is no user logged in.

You (likely) need to be root in the ssh session to gain access to the X11 server that's held by SDDM.

Aight figured out the issue. It fixed itself after a reinstall for no reason.
