I can not install obs-studio

Hello everone

I can not install "obs-studio-tytan652" package from aur.

this the error:

Do you have any ideas?

You need to install other dependencies from AUR ( ffmpeg-obs vlc-luajit ftl-sdk ) before building packages that depend on them.

I cannot install those dependencies you mentioned
I get the same error

You have to travel down the dependency tree until you have covered all aur dependencies .

example :
ffmpeg-obs has atleast one aur dependency , https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/librist/ .
You will have to build & install librist before you can build ffmpeg-obs .

I do not know whats the difference between aur package and official one?
I just want to use obs only for recording not streaming
aur package is better?

Not really? Why are you not just using the obs-studio provided by the normal repositories for plain testing purposes?

you should try add chaotic aur repositories and then install it,  i installed of this way

And then wonder why other things break. Suggesting this as a way of avoiding knowing how the AUR works isn't a good idea.

EDIT: Especially over a year later. Don't necropost.
