xine

hi guys,
since a day, xine is broken here. it segfaults, as do all applications using it. i've reinstalled it - no go. seems like it stopped working after the libX11-1.1(-2?) upgrade, but i'm not sure. i found out it didn't work 12 hour ago, shook my head, went to bed - but when i powered up this morning, still no go. so i wonder if somebody else noticed this, or it's on my side (tough i have no idea what could have caused it then).

OK, how could i not try: it works as root. so it's the settings (again) which are broken... sorry to bother you guys, i'm sure i can rm -rfd ~/.xine or something and it'll work.

so off to do that, later...
