apps not working (d4x & tkabber)

Recently I wanted to see different jabber clients and installed tkabber from community. Ran it, entered login, password and jabber server, then it freezes . No output in console.
d4x says "Segmentation fault" when I close it with Ctrl+C (when I try to quit using File->Exit it freezes if there is not finished download).
What's the problem? It happened on 2 computers (my desktop and laptop). I use wget and psi (I used d4x and tkabber only to try ), but that situation is quite annoying.
P. S. tkabber is from community, so I don't know if it is correct to ask help about it.
