Unable to save User settings in KDE Plasma 5

I just installed KDE Plasma 5 on my new Arch install and I'm having trouble configuring my account settings such as image, full name, and email address.  After I change them to the values I want and click "Apply", I am not prompted for my password and get an error message instead as shown in the screenshot below.  The second image shows the various software versions.

Mod Edit - Replaced oversized images with links.

This appears to be an issue with a polkit/accountsservice. I don't know anything else, but you're not alone.

Re: Unable to save User settings in KDE Plasma 5

Your user needs to have admin rights, which by polkit defaults are users in the wheel group. If that's not the case for your user either fix that or see: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Polkit … identities

Re: Unable to save User settings in KDE Plasma 5

My user is a member of the "wheel" group.
