My drive is not recognized anymore after a failed format during instal

I was installing arch on my empty 256gb ssd, my intention was to use dual boot and install windows later.

So during the format step i decided to format one partition as ntfs idk why, i think i saw it in the docs.

The formatting was super slow, then an error occured, i don't even remember what it was, now lsblk only recognizes sdb which is the flash drive, sda is shown as a 0 byte drive with no partitions.

I tried restarting and booting in bios mode, now the flash drive is labeled sda, and the ssd is gone

My ssd is completely unrecognizable now, not in bios and not in the arch install  i'm pretty sure it's still powered on because it vibrates a little when i hold it. But i can't imaging bricking the thing because of a failed format.

Since it is an install, not far along, try starting over and reformat drive again. Not ntfs of coarse.

The drive isn't recognized by the bios/uefi - reinstalling the os (on what?) will do jackshit about that.

I doubt the format will have bricked the drive, but the firmware certainly fails.
What model and how old is it and did you get it on ebay?
