Terminals freeze on opening

Hello,

I've been using dwm and st for quite a while now, but I ran into an issue. Sometimes when I open new terminals they become completely unresponsive (I can't close them, ctrl-q doesn't work either, but I can kill them with killall st). Sometimes they freeze in a second after opening(I have time to input 2-3 characters before it freezes). Sometimes the terminals that were already opened freeze also. Note that it's most likely not a problem with either dwm or st, because I've tried different window managers and terminal emulators and the issue persisted. Other applications like Firefox never freeze. I can easily recreate the issue by spamming the terminal opening shortcut, but it also often arises after a single key press. I have the linux-lts kernel and 390-xx-dkms Nvidia drivers, dwm runs on X11 and is ran from .xinitrc, the shell is bash.

I would appreciate any help.

Oh my god! Thank you so much, this problem really bothered me for the longest time. The problem was the ibus exports, which I don't use anymore. Deleted these and everything works like a charm!
