Wireless network denied association (code=43)

My HP Envy x360 (running arch 5.15.16-1-lts) can connect to almost every wireless network I've come across - at home, hotels and other houses; but it consistently fails to connect to the network at my school. When I try to connect using iwctl in interactive mode, it spits out "Operation Failed", sometimes after a second or two. This is what I get in journalctl during one connection attempt:

Feb 04 14:06:11 l3 kernel: wlan0: authenticate with f4:0f:1b:cb:ba:79
Feb 04 14:06:11 l3 kernel: wlan0: send auth to f4:0f:1b:cb:ba:79 (try 1/3)
Feb 04 14:06:11 l3 kernel: wlan0: authenticated
Feb 04 14:06:11 l3 kernel: wlan0: associate with f4:0f:1b:cb:ba:79 (try 1/3)
Feb 04 14:06:11 l3 kernel: wlan0: RX AssocResp from f4:0f:1b:cb:ba:79 (capab=0x1101 status=43 aid=0)
Feb 04 14:06:11 l3 kernel: wlan0: f4:0f:1b:cb:ba:79 denied association (code=43)

Apparently 43 is the IEEE 802.11 association code for "Invalid authentication and key management protocol".

Additionally, there is one specific room I have found at my school (nothing special, just a math classroom) where I can connect successfully to the same network without much hassle. It doesn't work in any other room I've been in.

If it's helpful to know, I have a Windows 10 partition on the same laptop which connects to the same network with no trouble.

This problem has persisted across many system upgrades.
