How to print through gtklp with OpenOffice?

This cups-font end seems to be a cool and versatile tool, in some way similar to FinePrint. Unfortunelly, it seems to exist little documantation about how to use it. Until now i only am able to print through it with gtk-based apps but not  OpenOffice, which is the program i more often use to print.

Is there any way to globally set gtklp as default printing application?

Re: How to print through gtklp with OpenOffice?

Given OpenOffice has native CUPS support, I don't see why you need it, but "spadmin" will let you use "gtklp" as your printing program.  Simply do "Add new printer", and pick any option that lets you enter a print command, which you set to gtklp.  Note: this worked for me ages ago, back before OpenOffice supported CUPS, don't know if it still does.

As for globally setting it, I havn't a clue.
