HI I am new to arch and I switched to arch linux today from windows 11 . Arch is my first linux distro but still I am a complete noob in linux and I don't know how to change sound in xfce desktop. I cannot find the sound settings and the default sound in xfce is very loud can anyone help me ?

The xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin package contains a panel that should give you a volume mixer granted you're using pulseaudio or pipewire-pulse

I installed the package u just said but still I cannot find the sound settings

But now I face a new problem. Whenever I try to open the control settings it tells me that failed to execute pavucontrol ad nI cannot change my settings after rebooting my pc

well install pavucontrol, it should've been listed as an optional dependency.

The official Xfce4 Documentation is also a good start for getting into grips with XFCE.
