qbittorrent: symbol lookup error: qbittorrent: undefined symbol: _ZN7QLocaleC1ERK7QString, version Qt_6

There is no output to the journal

Edit: When I quit the terminal window this gets printed to the journal

qt.qpa.xcb: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 9165, resource id: 37748859, major code: 18 (ChangeProperty), minor code: 0

Re: [Solved] symbol lookup error: qbittorrent: undefined symbol:

The "journal log" is a completely harmless message that can appear anytime a window is closed. Works fine here undefined symbols usually sound like partial updates make  sure you are up to date, what's your locale in the terminal?

localectl
locale
lddtree /usr/bin/qbittorrent #pax-utils
pacman -Qs qt6

Re: [Solved] symbol lookup error: qbittorrent: undefined symbol:

You are on a testing/unstable build of qt6 but probably didn't set up the rest of the testing repos.

kde-unstable is a testing repository built on the premise of testing, you need to enable all testing repositories and update your system or none.

if you did and are using the testing repos intentionally and properly you'll potentially have actually found a bug.

Moving to the testing boards.

Re: [Solved] symbol lookup error: qbittorrent: undefined symbol:

You need to put the/all of the testing repos above the normal repositories to make them a priority. Looks like you're logically doing that but I'd still not leave a gap between [community-testing] and the other testing repos

I'd test whether a manual rebuild of qbittorrent against the new qt6 fixes this.

For example, though I doubt this is going to have much of a relevant impact.
