Small (but strange) issues with korean/ch fonts in terminal

1)
Two urxvt terms, the first in screen -U format for unicode and the second duplicated with screen -x. It doesnt matter if its the only term open, with or without screen.

If you compare the two in this screenshot you notice that on the right the font is much bolder to the extent that its almost unreadable.

2)
I also have an issue with my chinese font. The characters vary in size so much that one character can be half the size of another.

3)
Using irssi on irc.hanirc.org, with cp949 encoding, I can read hangeul fine in chat, but for some reason its not displayed in the nicknames. Also I cant join channels that has hangeul in them as the server doesnt recognize what I write (with scim). Even if I cut and pasted it doesnt work. Please, I dont want to use x-chat  neutral
