New Asus Laptop - Intel Corporation Wireless 8265 / 8275 not work [OK]

Hi,

I have change my laptop and have install Archlinux.
I have no Wifi, i have install:

Is this a dual boot system with Windows? If so, have you disabled Windows fast boot?

No is this Arch only boot, fastboot is disabled in the bios

I recently got ASUS UM452Q: Ryzen 5000 with the same Wifi card and it works just fine.

Arch installation distro image booted just fine with Wifi support. But I forgot to install some packages that brought up the device after installation boot.
Make sure you have the following installed too:

core/iw
core/wpa_supplicant

Also recommend updating to the devices latest BIOS and installing Intel's ucode:

extra/intel-ucode

Might have to configure your boot manager so the ucode is actually loaded during startup. Example rEFInd:

"Boot with standard options"  "ro cryptdevice=UUID=30de575d-d87f-4612-a903-99c58246bc1d:croot root=/dev/mapper/croot initrd=amd-ucode.img initrd=initramfs-linux.img quiet"
