Hi
got a wierd problem
I tried setting the root partition (hda8) and when I go to the installation step, the install fails. The output from the log console is
mount:/dev/hda8 on /mnt/ failed :Invalid argument
My specs:
1. Already installed arch once before 8)
2. /de/hda7 ext3 supp to be /boot (of new install)
3. /dev/hda8 ext3 supp to be /
4. /dev/hda9 reiser supp to be /home
5. /dev/hda10 swap
Thanks
[edited changes]: In my original post I forgot the word "once before" without which the post would make no sense. My apologies

Hi
thanks tpowa but downloading would be my last resort. I have to wait over six hours for a 141Mb file around here
I have already done an install of Arch using the same CD. If I guess right for the error , the installer tries to mount the partition on /mnt/ and fails. Why is this so?
