Fonts not correctly showing in snap package

Hi

I installed Obsidian (the notetaking program) from Snap, however, everytime I open the filemanager to attach an image to a note, the fonts are not showing.

I have already done the steps found at [https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Snap#Text_unreadable] and many flavors of it (including removing the cached fontconfig stuff from /var/snap, as suggested by some on StackOverflow).

I hope I just overlooked something simple.

This is a known issue with snap and specifically with obsidian, it persists on multiple distributions and the solution from the wiki doesn't seem to fix it.
I know it's not really a solution to the snap problem but perhaps consider the official arch package or a flatpak, both are relatively recent releases and will have better system integration.
Otherwise, hopefully someone more experienced with the snap format can lend a hand.
