This started happening for me after the update to bluez 5.64-1. For now, a workaround is to create /etc/systemd/system/bluetooth.service.d/override.conf with the content
[Service]
ReadWritePaths=

I have the same error but this workaround does nothing on my end. Same error still exists like the OP has. Is this a bug in the current bluez package?

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I rebooted after creating the file. There is a bug in Flyspray for this: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74157
