Hi all! This is the first issue I've come across where I can't find anything online or from friends, and while I'm fairly sure it's mostly a graphics card issue I am obviously running Arch so here I am!
Just a couple days ago I was able to build a new PC and everything went smoothly. The graphics card came in a bit late, though, so I used my old Radeon RX 550 until my new Radeon RX 6600 XT came in. After changing it, however, I noticed an issue. I'm not much of a gamer overall, and I mostly play Minecraft. When I do, I usually have YouTube or Hulu or something in the background. The issue is this: When I have Minecraft running at the same time as these video platforms, they no longer work. YouTube and Hulu videos refuse to play, live chat notification sounds don't play, nothing. Another weird thing is that when the browser is the highlighted window, my Minecraft client's FPS drops from a consistent 60 (Vsync) down to a fluctuating 20-40. When I return to the Minecraft window, it instantly rises back up to 60 like nothing happened, but sounds still don't play.
I've eliminated every possible factor I can think of. Everything worked fine on my old system (MSI B450 Tomahawk Max II, Ryzen 5 3600, RX 550, 32GB RAM (4x8GB)) and everything worked fine on my new system minus the graphics card (Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite Wi-Fi, Ryzen 9 5900X, RX 550, 64GB RAM (2x32GB)), the only time this has happened is when I have the new card in (Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite Wi-Fi, Ryzen 9 5900X, Radeon RX 6600 XT, 64GB RAM (2x32GB)). I have the same relevant packages/drivers installed, I tried upping and lowering the RAM arguments in the Minecraft client, I tried swapping out mods and playing vanilla, nothing works. I'm assuming it's a card or driver issue, or maybe there's a new setting that I wouldn't have had on my old system that's now rearing its ugly head on my new one. Any help would be appreciated!

Which kernel are you on? 6600 XT is fairly new if you used to use e.g. the LTS kernel you should check the normal/newer kernel. FWIW regarding the no sound issue, what's your audio setup in general, the described symptoms sound like one or the other stealing device access which can happen if your sound setup is misconfigured. What's your output of
sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
aplay -lL #alsa-utils
#if pulse/pipewire
pactl list sinks
pactl list sink-inputs

I knew I was missing some info! I'm running the kernel version 5.16.15-zen kernel.
This is the output of that command string:

I'm currently not running Minecraft but if you need/want the output with Minecraft in the equation I can fire it up. If that does wind up being the case, do you want me to have a specific window focused on? Since the audio issue remains regardless but the FPS drop only occurs when my main window is something that isn't Minecraft.
Quick edit: I also have an issue that my volume percentage resets upon restarting, not sure if that's related or relevant.
