I'm running into graphical corruption issues when running custom Minecraft 1.16.5 modpack I'm putting together which cause the entire system to freeze, necessitating a hard reboot of the entire machine. I can start up the game, play for about a minute or two, then my monitor briefly loses signal, before visuals return looking like this: https://i.imgur.com/s9eYdSa.jpeg. At this point, the system requires a hard reboot to restore functionality.
I'm running the game through the GDLauncher flatpak, and I've observed this issue on both Wayland and X.org, with both linux and linux-lts kernels with systemd-based initramfs, and with both mesa and mesa-git packages. Here is the journalctl log from my most recent attempt: https://paste.ee/p/5jKQT. There's nothing in the game logs to point to a solution. If a mod is at fault, it is most likely one of the following:
- Magnesium v1.5
- Magnesium Extras 1.3.1
- Magnesium Dynamic Lights 1.0.1
- FerriteCore 2.1.0
- Sulfuric 1.1
- maybe Krypton Reforged 1.0.0

Well did you check whether disabling these mods one by one resolves this? Are you running close to your HW limits? What does VRAM usage look like?

I've narrowed it down to an issue with Magnesium Extras, and I've posted an issue on their Github. I'll update this thread if there's any solution.
As for VRAM usage, it never goes above around 50%

I was able to switch to another tty after the GPU crash took place, so I saved a dmesg log: https://paste.ee/p/cKv6L
