Wait for plymouth to finish full animation before quitting.

I'm a big fan of plymouth because it looks super cool, but one problem is that my super cool animation gets cut short after boot and before shutdown. Is there anyway I can make plymouth run through the entire animation first? Thank you in advance to any information on this topic!

Thank you for the quick reply! I could be misunderstanding this option, but doesn't this wait a certain period and then show the splash, rather than let the splash display for 'x' amount of time.
