[SOLVED] DMESG - sof firmware file missing

i am am unable to get my audio working with my arch install.

if i go to audio control i and check audio it says dummy output -

i ran dmesg i get these errors -

[    8.683251] sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl 0000:00:1f.3: download it from https://github.com/thesofproject/sof-bin/
[    8.683252] sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl 0000:00:1f.3: error: failed to load DSP firmware -2
[    8.684303] sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl 0000:00:1f.3: error: sof_probe_work failed err: -2

ive tried to download and install from github but

the more i look on internet to fix the more i am getting confused..
if someone has some experience with this issue i could really use some help !

The repos have a sof-firmware package, install that. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Advanc … A_firmware
