Whenever I reply to an email, my signature block ends up at the very bottom i.e. after the mail being answered.
I would like to have my signature block right after my text and the email being answered below my signature.
Anyone knows how I can set this up?

you simply can't. this has been discussed several times on kmail bugzilla (for instance http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18230) ; looks like kmail developpers don't plan to integrate such feature...
that's one of the very few (but very annoying) stupid kmail design choices.
sorry mate...

WOW I must agree with you, it is indeed a rather poor design decision and that discussion has been going on since 2001 !! . Thanks for your answer. Just because of this, il may consider moving to some other alternative.

Does any other GUI client allow this?
evolution or thunderbird?
I have been searching for this for a while. Although i dont find it enough to change kmail for another client just for this, it would be nice to see if its possible and keep bugging the bug tracker for the feature.

maybe evolution can do this, you may want to check. i don't like evolution, but don't blame me for that, it's just a matter of taste.
sometimes i simply don't understand why devs are so opposed to integrate highly-demanded features...

If I remember, Thunderbird is fine. i.e. signature block right after your text.
And by the way, even MS Outlook does it... shame on kmail

It's stupid that they wont implement that easy of a request - sure.
But it is bad form to "top-reply". Text you reference should always go above your reply in an email for ease of reading. It's standard netiquette, and I have a feeling this is where their decision comes from.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top-posting - even wikipedia will agree though, it's mostly personal taste.
PS: I love that it's an RFC.

This is all matter of opinion (or technology limitation). I hate having to scroll all the way down to read the most recent reply (just like on this forum actually). Where I work (which is where I am stuck with Outlook), everything is top reply as you say.
