Telegram is not following xdg mime rules

I have Telegram installed from `community` repository and PyCharm Professional from AUR.
I have xdg-mime-types set correctly (so I hope, at least):

$ xdg-mime query default text/plain
text.desktop
$ xdg-mime query default text/x-script.python
text.desktop

If I run `xdg-open file.py` it runs it with my `text.desktop` application, but if I open the same file via Telegram (clicking on it, placed in some chat) it opens via PyCharm

Re: Telegram is not following xdg mime rules

Did you ever find a fix? I have the same issue with Telegram and Steam.
