Gparted Error

when i launch gparted it ask for my password (i enter it) i see the program for a second then it crashes

wowie! I changed xinitrc back to defaults and it launches, mind if I ask what was going on?

Note: At the very least, ensure that the last if block in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc is present in your ~/.xinitrc file to ensure that the scripts in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d are sourced.

/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/50-systemd-user.sh imports important environment variables into the session and w/o them you lack access to the session bus.
You don't need to use the default xinitrc (ie. xterm and twm), but you must include those scripts to guarantee a proper session.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
