Hi everyone,
I'm an ex-Windows user, I've been using Arch for a month now and it's amazingly fast ... but far from being simple ![]()
So, now I have to leave home for a while and I need to access my KDE GUI desktop from a Windows 10 notebook. The out-most important aspect is to be able to use all the tools I use locally on the system: PhpStorm, Konsole, Thunderbird, Firefox etc, that is, same user, same desktop setup. And, if possible, same session, so if I leave stuff open and disconnect, get it back on reconnect.
I own a public static IP, I can forward ports to my desktop, so physical connectivity is not an issue.
What would be the recommended (and/or easiest) remote access server/client setup?
Thank you in advance.

For whom it may concern: I ended up using TeamViewer. Works flawlessly and most importantly I can access my local session, instead of having a separate remote session (as I read that most other remote alternatives do: xrdp, VNC, etc).
