Sata controller (ATI sb600) in Archlinux

I just bought a new pc with a ASUS M2R32 motherboard (ATI sb600 sata controller) and a sata 2 disk. I tried to install several distribution but only Arch recognized the hard disk. I tried (fedora, ubuntu, opensuse) with different kernels (2.6.17, 18 and 19).

Does anyone knows the patch, kernel parameter or module that makes arch find the disk?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Sata controller (ATI sb600) in Archlinux

I think that found the parameter that make archlinux work.

It is the absence of msi. In fact the drive is found starting ubuntu with pci=nomsi .
