Screen Corruption after suspend question

I'm not sure if I misplaced the command or word, but this solution no longer works for me, at least on Wayland:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA … ibernation

I """accidentally""" removed my nvidia-power-management.conf file in /etc/modprobe.d, which was used to solve the corruption problem. I removed it because I had read that the new driver solved (or solves) this issue on GDM (or I suppose Gnome). But I later on I didn't realize that the dkms driver hasn't been updated yet. So I re-created the config file and enabled the services as required, but this instead led me to a new problem: using systemctl suspend and/or the suspend button on Gnome now simply turns off my screen, and my pc gets stuck there until I force shutdown or reboot.

Again, I might have misplaced an option or command, but this is what I had in nvidia-power-management.conf file

options nvidia NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1 NVreg_TemporaryFilePath=/var/tmp

Strangely enough, when I disabled DRM/Wayland, it allowed me to suspend without corruption nor stagnant screen/display. So I presume the "options nvidia-drm modeset=1" conflicts with the option above somehow - I can't remember why it worked before though.

Edit: It looks like I have the same drive- Nevermind, the dkms driver hasn't been updated yet.

Re: Screen Corruption after suspend question

Did you resolve this? I'm facing this issue as well on Wayland, but I'm using the standard "nvidia" package. Nvidia claims to have resolved this in 515.43.04 but I'm still experiencing it. I've noticed the same thing about NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations not working properly (seems OOM killer is triggered)

Re: Screen Corruption after suspend question

Not yet, I'm afraid. This could be related to Wayland itself since the method works on Xorg.
