[SOLVED] Sound suddenly stopped working

I am running arch Linux on my laptop. Sound has stopped working. Here is the ALSA information http://alsa-project.org/db/?f=a0ad79300 … fe582a3701

Do you get sound from that?

I don't have the file thunderstruck.mp3, so I downloaded sample1.mp3 from https://filesamples.com/formats/mp3 and ran the command. I don't get any sound.

$ mpv -ao alsa ~/Downloads/sample1.mp3 
 (+) Audio --aid=1 (mp3 2ch 44100Hz)
AO: [alsa] 44100Hz stereo 2ch float
A: 00:00:00 / 00:02:02 (0%)

Exiting... (Quit)
