Hey all..
I am kind of a n00b.. Running my Arch based distro that has PipeWire by default. Some of my users with older hardware reporting that Settings app freezes when they do sound test from Audio settings..
Can anyone chime in ?

Is this "your own distro" that you distribute to people? Or did you grab an ISO from somewhere and installed that? Are you running into a variant of https://archlinux.org/news/undone-repla … replumber/ ?
If this is a random distro, then we do not support it here and you have to ask on the channels of the distribution you acquired your images from. If you are just the middle man and basically have your own installation that doesn't work correctly, ensure the above isn't a problem. I faintly recall there was an actual bug here, which should be fixed in the current packages are you up to date?

It's my own Distro that I created.. Anyway I have created a PipeWire meta package with following maybe am doing something wrong ? Should I add pipewire-media-session to it as you indicated ?

Hard to tell, if you actually want to be on pipewire, wireplumber is the more actively maintained session manager and should be preferred.
In what way does the "freezing" show itself? Output of
sudo fuser -v
pactl list sinks
systemctl --user status pipewire pipewire-pulse pipewire-media-sessionas well as terminal output from running the speaker testing settings from a terminal start of systemsettings?
Also, while the image size is somewhat fine here, please post outputs/information that you get in textual format as text using code tags rather than screenshots: https://bbs.archlinux.org/help.php#bbcode

Well, user reports that when they head into KDE settings > Audio then hit the test button which pops up with speaker test popup clicking on speakers ends up freezing the settings app...
