Hello,
I installed Arch yesterday and I have problems setting my main monitor refresh rate to 144Hz. My second monitor works fine when I change it to 144Hz but my first monitor only renders half of the screen, the upper half is black but I can click in there even though I can't see. This doesn't happen when the refresh rate is 60Hz. I also tried in 120Hz and it renders like 75% of the screen.
I have tried changing the connections but it is always the same monitor that shows the problem. I know it can run up to 144Hz because they are both the same and both work perfectly in Windows.
I don't know if the problem comes from sddm or something else. I wonder if someone could help me.

Please post the output of "xrandr -q" for good and bad refresh rates.
For "SDDM" I'm guessing "KDE"? Try to suspend the compositor (SHIFT+Alt+F12)

I tried (SHIFT+Alt+F12) but did not work. And yes I'm using KDE.
I think this is the output you want me to post.
This is the "bad" monitor:
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 16384 x 16384
DP-1 connected primary 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 521mm x 293mm
1920x1080 60.00 + 144.00* 120.00 59.97 59.96 50.00 59.94 59.93
1680x1050 119.95 59.95 59.88
1400x1050 74.76 59.98
1600x900 59.99 59.94 59.95 59.82
1280x1024 119.96 85.02 75.02 60.02
1440x900 119.98 59.89
This is the "good" monitor:
DP-2 connected primary 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 521mm x 293mm
1920x1080 60.00 + 144.00* 120.00 59.97 59.96 50.00 59.94 59.93
1680x1050 119.95 59.95 59.88

No, I meant the complete output for 60Hz and 144HZ (I suspected that maybe the output would switch to two logical outputs, but that doesn't seem to be the case)
However, are both tagges "primary" at the same time?
Does the issue exist if you've only one output attached/enabled?
