hi. not sure if anyone has encountered this issue. i have a framework laptop, intel graphics and so on, which every now and then i use plugged to an external screen and a usb hub connected to a few peripherals including a mouse and a keyboard.
every 2 seconds of inactivity the mouse freezes, both on wayland and x11, and on the gdm login screen too. everything else works fine (i can type this post without interruptions) and clicking any of the mouse buttons unlocks it. the same happens to the keyboard, as the first keypress in the freeze wakes the keyboard up again, and the second keypress will be recognised.
plugging the usb cable off and on again seems to sort it out but i wonder if anyone has had a similar issue.
i have been watching dmesg and journalctl and there are no related logs. any idea how to debug it?

sorted out. turns out that `powertop --auto-tune` sets autosuspend for everything (which is good) but has very low timeouts. there might be some udev witchcraft to control this.
