Hi, I sorry if this is formatted weird. I'm writing on my phone. I recently ran a pacman -Syu and ran sway --unsupported-gpu with no problem. A few minutes after, I rebooted and sway didn't work any longer. Weirdly, I'm also getting a lot of diagnostic messages that I never got before. I'm not using a display manager, so they appear as a wall of text on startup. They look like "[time] service: description". I have tried a variety of window managers, including Sway, River, and Gnome. It's not just a Wayland thing, because startx also doesn't do anything. In all cases, I get a few diagnostic messages and the tty hangs until I force reboot. Any help here would be appreciated

Boot the multi-user.target (2nd link below) in doubt along "nomodeset" and post the system journal of a broken boot ("sudo journalctl -b -1" for the previous one).
You can use the tip in the 1st link below for that.

Hi, this is the log for my most recent boot: https://pastebin.com/tntYzYbm . Also, I should note that I was able to get Gnome to run by forcing it to use X. However, I still can't get any Wayland apps to run. They just hang in the terminal.

Thanks for the help! I figured it had something to do with the huge kernel release, but I wasn't able to find anything relevant. For any time travellers, here's how I changed the kernel parameters: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/kernel_parameters#GRUB
