[SOLVED] cairo-dock segmentation fault bug

Hello!

I installed cairo-dock but everytime I try to open it, I got the following bug:

[rafael@pc ~]$ cairo-dock &
[2] 33570
[1] Segmentation fault (core dumped) cairo-dock

Has anyone seen anything like it? I tried to look for it on Google but it showed me no results.

Re: [SOLVED] cairo-dock segmentation fault bug

I have cairo-dock 3.4.1-4 working on XFCE4 without issue, which version did you install?

Thank you for your answer!

I have no idea, but I just used:

$ yay -S cairo-dock

I also tried:

$ yay -S cairo-dock-git

With the same bug. I don't know if it influences on the functioning of cairo-dock, but I'm on KDE/Plasma.

I am guessing it is a KDE thing, which I cannot help with.  I will let someone with more knowledge answer.

Thank you for your answer! Apparently, KDE and Wayland are not so compatible, so the cairo-cok, which was made for wayland and gnome, won't work on KDE/Plasma. There is an alternative application that is not as good as cairo-dock for the KDE called latte-dock that works fine.
