I am using the LTS kernel (Linux ArxhX12 5.15.44-1-lts #1) on a Lenovo X12 convertible with KDE Plasma. I use evdev-rce to allow me to use the touchscreen.
Sometimes if I long-press for a right click, evdev-rce starts to occupy 100% CPU and (via powertop) up to 8mW of power, comparable to the wifi radio.
I have not yet figured out how to replicate this problem, but it seems to have something to do with screen rotation. This is not consistent behavior though.
When this happens, if I kill the PID, the system becomes unstable and I have to hard reboot.
Can someone help me to track down the cause so I can report it or fix it?
