Hi there,
I installed arch on a Dell Latitude 7200, system fully updated.
When i use the volume keys with a single tap, volume goes up by six steps, instead of a single step.
If i keep it pressed, volume goes up till i release the button as expected, but this happens only if i keep it pressed long enough.
Using showkeys in the console show that the keyrelease event is triggered with about 0.5secs of lag for a single keypress, and i think this is the cause of the issue, it starts to repeat the keys.
If i keep the key pressed for more than 0.5 second, the keyrelease event happens at the right time.
So it seems that the minimum time for a keyrelease event is 0.5 about seconds, other keys seems to work just fine.
This is a 2 in 1 tablet, and the problem happens only with the volume keys on the tablet; if i use the fn+f2 or fn+f3 by the keyboard, it works as expected. showkeys returns the same keycode for the keys on the tablet and the keys on the keyboard.
By now i just made the increment and decrement step smaller in kde to mitigate the issue, but i wonder if i can solve it to the root.
Windows does not have the issue; maybe it is an hardware one and it just have quirks.
Anybody has an idea?
