Hi there,
today I ran "pacman -syu" to update Arch, straight fist thing "Replace kwayland-server with extra/kwin? [Y/n]".
I understand difference of kwayland-server and kwin.
I'm running Kwin and xorg server, so my question is why update is asking me to replace kwayland-server with kwin out of the blue sky?
So before I risk confirming I would like to know your opinion.
Have a great evening.

Hi!
kwayland-server has been merged with KWin in KDE upstream (see invent.kde.org — kwayland-server). So Arch did remove it too and replaces it with the new KWin. KWin is always both, X11 and Wayland, so you have to update it independend of the part you use.
