Programs need Boost 1.79

So I made a bit of a booboo. I wanted to use EasyStroke, so I downgraded Boost to 1.78, and it seems to have worked. However, the tradeoff is that now I can't use programs like Inkscape or Blender without seeing errors saying that it couldn't find a directory in 1.79. Is there any way that I can fix this?

blender: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_locale.so.1.79.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

You update the system fully, then rebuild the other programs that need it. Anything outside if the repos is your responsibility to maintain.
