Black screen on login page

I get a black screen on the login page every time I boot up, if I type in my password it still signs me in and lets me use my computer as normal. I started getting this after installing Nvidia Optimus, is there something I'm missing?

Please specify the login process (console/agetty or some DM and which) and most likely post your xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General
Also, is this a multiscreen system? Do you see a mouse cursor or is everything black? Does the bezel LED (assuming there's one) or the output OSD indicate there's no signal?

Check the journal logs and post relevant errors here. Which Display Manager are you using?
