mdadm raid0 + luks2 + ext4: checksum errors (group desciptors)

Hi,

I've got two 8 bay enclosures running with 16 devices as raid0 with luks2 and ext4.

When I try to mount I get "structure needs cleaning" errors. dmesg shows ext4 group descriptor checksum errors.

I don't think it's a hardware failure. The enclosures, hdds and ram work fine.

Tested with btrfs. Same problem. Checksum errors (see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=260492).

Tested to mount on another device. Same problem.

The bays got JMicron JMS567 chips. usb-storage is loaded (quirks found).

What I wanted to try is to override the quirks and load uas driver (see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=277544).

libcrc32c, crc32c_generic, crc32_pclmul, crc32c_intel are loaded.
How can I / do i have to load crc64 modules?

Linux kernel 5.19 rc4 at the moment.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

if someone has the same problem:

Hardware failure. dmesg showed "bad cable". The hdd enclosure's usb port was broken.
