Update somehow broke OpenGL drivers

To the mod that can't read: I'm running Arch and the packages you mentioned are alternatives to the mesa driver. I also tried installed the mesa drivers from the official arch repo but nothing changed.

These packages were upgraded

[2022-07-02T17:40:25-0300] [ALPM] upgraded binutils (2.38-5 -> 2.38-6)
[2022-07-02T17:40:27-0300] [ALPM] upgraded linux (5.18.7.arch1-1 -> 5.18.8.arch1-1)
[2022-07-02T17:40:27-0300] [ALPM] upgraded broadcom-wl (6.30.223.271-394 -> 6.30.223.271-395)
[2022-07-02T17:40:27-0300] [ALPM] upgraded glib2 (2.72.2-1 -> 2.72.3-1)
[2022-07-02T17:40:27-0300] [ALPM] upgraded dunst (1.8.1-1 -> 1.9.0-1)
[2022-07-02T17:40:27-0300] [ALPM] upgraded lib32-glib2 (2.72.2-1 -> 2.72.3-1)

[2022-07-02T17:40:28-0300] [ALPM] upgraded libclc (13.0.1-1 -> 14.0.6-1)
[2022-07-02T17:40:29-0300] [ALPM] upgraded llvm-libs (13.0.1-6 -> 14.0.6-1)
[2022-07-02T17:40:30-0300] [ALPM] upgraded mesa-tkg-git (22.2.0_devel.156164.1141ed585901-1 -> 22.2.0_devel.156171.7bb62d9dd859-1)
[2022-07-02T17:40:30-0300] [ALPM] upgraded lib32-mesa-tkg-git (22.2.0_devel.156164.1141ed585901-1 -> 22.2.0_devel.156171.7bb62d9dd859-1)
[2022-07-02T17:40:33-0300] [ALPM] upgraded llvm (13.0.1-6 -> 14.0.6-1)
[2022-07-02T17:40:33-0300] [ALPM] transaction completed

I tried rolling back mesa, uninstalled and tried the mesa package from Extra but didn't work either.
Launching kitty from command line gives me this error:

[183 19:16:43.221472] [glfw error 65542]: GLX: GLX extension not found
[183 19:16:43.221518] Failed to create GLFW temp window! This usually happens because of old/broken OpenGL drivers. kitty requires working OpenGL 3.3 drivers.

I can't rollback those other packages for some reason.
Everything was working fine until this update.

Re: Update somehow broke OpenGL drivers

Posting the same thing again doesn't seem like a good idea.

Edit: nevermind, ignore my post.

Re: Update somehow broke OpenGL drivers

How did you install mesa-tkg-git and lib32-mesa-tkg-git? Which third-party repo are you using?

Re: Update somehow broke OpenGL drivers

The third party repo you are using needs to rebuild their mesa packages with clang/llvm 14. The packages from extra work here, what's your actual graphics card?

Re: Update somehow broke OpenGL drivers

Tried "how"? The pacman log excerpt doesn't reflect that at all.
And if you installed them from a running X11 server and then tried to run kitty on that same X11 server, you won't have achieved anything as the problem is the missing GLX extension, ie. in that case you would have had to restart X11.

Post an your xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General and "lscpi"
