chrome-gnome-shell not working on firefox

installed packages:
firefox
chrome-gnome-shell
firefox: "gnome shell extensions" firefox extension

What could be the issue ?

Try rebuilding chrome-gnome-shell.

I noticed it's a firefox-beta problem. Extensions work fine on regular firefox. I wonder why no one reported this. Any workaround to fix extensions on beta/nightly, would be thankful.

Personal recommendation: ditch all of that entirely and use https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.ma … ionManager

Thank you. Btw, I'm not a flatpak user. Can't have it just for one application. Does this exist in AUR?

Hm. It's working fine on stable here. Btw I tried extension-manager & it's really good.

Thanks, but somehow I'm getting this error while trying to install an online extension:

(extension-manager:16263): CRITICAL **: 12:39:02.800: GDBus.Error:org.gtk.GDBus.UnmappedGError.Quark._g_2dio_2derror_2dquark.Code36: GDBus.Error:org.gnome.Shell.ExtensionError: Unexpected response: Bad Request

Don't know if you have solved this error before.

Thanks, I fixed it!

Turns out you need to downgrade to gnome-shell-42.0. I've used downgrade:

sudo downgrade gnome-shell

And select the 42.0 version.

Looks like it's more of an extension manager issue than newer gnome updates. I think it's better to stick to latest gnome-shell & wait for extension-manager fix.
