fluxbox

anyone have problems with it remembering window positions and sizes?

sometimes it does when I reopen a program or it freaks out and is off the desktop.

Right-click the top title bar, go down to Remember >

Remember dimensions.
Remember position


And you're done.

The option that F gave you in his post will remember the position of that particular program for future windows.  In other words, if you do it to Firefox one time, it should remember that position every time you open Firefox thereafter.

I think maybe they meant to automatically save window positions upon moving them, etc without having to select that.

I don't know simply because I don't use Flux, however I hope I have clarified the question correctly.

yea, I had similar issues, got tired of messing with it all the time.  Installed e17(enlightenment), works great with arch!!!
