No more login

I've running a minimal arch installation for months.
I always use samba, but due to new users join on the net, they use only macos and they was unable to find anything in the shares with spotlight, I decided to install netatalk.
Now I can't access to the system 'cause no login is accepted.
I usually log with 'root' 'admin'

here is my 'etc/passwd'

I never edit those files.
I can't figure out what is wrong, when I chroot from a live usb the console says [I have no name!@archiso /] and if I passwd root the answer is "Cannot determine your username"
