Microphone doesn't work in an external USB sound card

Hello everyone,

I have the same problem with my Audiotrak Maya U5.
It works flawlessly on Windows 10 but on both ubuntu based distros and Arch I am unable to get the microphone working.
The sound works as expected.

The output of lsusb is here:
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:8001 Intel Corp. Integrated Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 04f2:b449 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd Integrated Camera
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 8087:0a2a Intel Corp. Bluetooth wireless interface
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 040d:3401 VIA Technologies, Inc. MAYA U5
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

I also can see the "Line In - Maya U5" and ""Digital Input (S/PDIF) - MAYA U5" in the Gnome's sound settings but neither of them works.

I was wondering if there is a chance to get it working on Linux somehow

Thanks
