Hi everyone,
A few weeks ago I bought an XFX RX 6600. Because I wanted to test it on games that did not natively run on Linux, I have been using Windows since then, where the GPU worked fine. After becoming bored of Windows, I decided to switch back to Arch, only to run into this bizarre display issue. Essentially, my system has two GPUs - the iGPU in my Intel Core i5-11600K (UHD Graphics 750) and my RX 6600. My motherboard supports the use of both the integrated and discrete GPUs for multi-monitor, so I use this feature to drive my secondary monitor (75Hz 1080p) while my primary monitor (240Hz 1080p) is connected to my RX 6600. My integrated monitor works totally fine - yet the monitor connected to my RX 6600 experiences heavy flickering and complete display unresponsiveness (the seconds portion on my top bar clock is frozen) everywhere except for the cursor, which works completely fine on the primary monitor. I have found nothing on the internet that parallels this problem.
I have all the associated AMDGPU drivers from https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AMDGPU installed. lspci -k shows that the GPU appears to be working nominally under the amdgpu driver:
03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Navi 23 [Radeon RX 6600/6600 XT/6600M] (rev c7)
Subsystem: XFX Limited Device 6505
Kernel driver in use: amdgpu
Kernel modules: amdgpuSo therefore I really don't know what's wrong with the driver. I don't think I've made any custom Xorg configurations. However, I have used an Radeon HD 6450 in this system before - but I don't remember what I did with that. Could that be the reason why I'm experiencing these issues?

Inxi appears to list 3 output devices : Screen-1 , Monitor-1 ( DP ) and Monitor-2 (HDMI) .
Are there 3 physical screens present or 2 ?
Please post xorg log , see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General for info where to find it.
The outputs of
$ xrandr -q
$ xrandr --listproviderswould also be useful .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
